Our tubs & lids are made from Poly-Propylene (PP-05). This is classed as widely recyclable in the UK which means that is collected by over 75% of local authorities/councils for recycling. As kerbside recycling collections are still at the discretion of local councils, if your local council does not collect, it will be possible to take plastics to your local recycling centre. You can search where to take your packaging if the local councils aren’t collecting it here: https://www.recyclenow.com/local-recycling
Do you use palm oil in your spreads?
To make Pure a solid at room temperature and a spreadable product without the use of hydrogenation, a little palm oil which is naturally hard at room temperature, is combined with liquid vegetable oils. We always seek to operate in the most transparent and ethical way when it comes to our use of palm oil. We work with the RSPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil) to ensure all the palm oil we buy is sustainably sourced and we are proud to be 100% certified by the RSPO. We only use RSPO certified, sustainably sourced palm oil in all of our products.
